math services for PK-6TH
FOR STUDENTS PK-6TH GRADE:
This service is designed for students who struggle to make sense of math despite trying hard. Many children experience difficulty with number sense, basic facts, multi-step problem solving, or applying strategies consistently. Others feel anxious or frustrated during math and lack confidence in their abilities.
Our math instruction supports students who need explicit, hands-on teaching to build understanding, not just memorization, so math becomes logical, manageable, and meaningful.
INCLUDES:
Instruction begins with the Acadience Universal Math Screener, assessing both computation and math application skills. This allows us to clearly identify a student’s current skill level, strengths, and areas of need.
Using this data, along with observation and ongoing progress monitoring, we design targeted, multisensory math instruction that builds skills step by step. Lessons are adjusted as students grow, ensuring instruction remains responsive and effective. Families receive clear communication about what is being taught and how progress is measured.
STUDENTS WORK ON:
Number sense and place value
Fact fluency with understanding
Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division concepts
Math vocabulary and language
Problem-solving strategies and reasoning
Visual models and hands-on representations
Applying math skills to real-world situations
Instruction emphasizes thinking, reasoning, and strategy use rather than speed alone.
IS THIS THE SUPPORT YOUR CHILD NEEDS?

Become anxious, frustrated, or avoidant during math
Have difficulty with word problems or multi-step tasks
Forget strategies from one day to the next
